Lynwood Unified Hosts Electives Fair for Incoming Middle, High School Students

Incoming middle and high school students got a first look at the programs Lynwood Unified School District has to offer during a Secondary Electives Fair event held at Bateman Hall on Feb. 2-3.

During the event, students engaged in activities with teachers, club members and program representatives from the District’s schools. The event was an exciting opportunity for students to determine which schools would be a good match for their interests.

On Feb. 2, students had the opportunity to explore electives offered at Cesar Chavez and Hosler middle schools, including robotics, anatomy, computer science and art.

On Feb 3, incoming freshmen explored elective and career technical education opportunities at Lynwood and Firebaugh high schools, including biomedical health sciences, engineering, culinary arts, theater, band and more.

Lynwood Unified is proud to provide students with many opportunities to explore their passions and careers as they continue their academic journeys.
